Departing the conference center at 9:00 AM, this rather long tour, is sure to wow everyone. During this spectacular tour, we will visit the capital city of Tarragona, which is home to the Tárraco Archaeological Site. This region was awarded the World Heritage designation by the UNESCO. We’ll also visit the Cistercian monastery of El Poblet which also has the World Heritage distinction. The history and architecture are enough to make this day worth the trip, however, we will also partake in an incredible lunch during this day tour. Also, if time permits, we’ll visit the city wall. The Roman city wall is known as the archaeological walk. It was built in the latter stages of the 3rd century B.C. and the beginning of the second century B.C. This and more await you on this amazing adventure! This tour is expected to return at approximately 7:00 PM. |
