The tour departs the JW Marriott lobby at 9:00 AM. This tour has it all! First you get a city overview in just 2 hours. Major landmarks, lesser known gems that only a local would know about, real neighborhoods, and of course, the food trucks! This is a bus tour but you get out at many stops to stretch your legs and see the sights. Along the way we’ll chat about art, music, culture, food, history, parks, famous people, and much more! We’ll also discover secret spots, hear funny stories, and decipher local legends. Make new memories and laugh a ton as we show you how we “Keep Austin Weird.” But no tour of Austin is complete without a visit to the Hill Country! So let’s head for the hills! This road trip takes you out of Austin and into our beloved Hill Country. Texas has long been famous for its amazing BBQ but many people don’t know the state is the 5th largest wine producer in the United States, so why not pair famous BBQ with fantastic wine? We start at the Salt Lick, one of the most famous BBQ pits in the Lone Star State, where you can savor fall-off-the-bone brisket, sausage, turkey and out-of-this-world sides. We’ll then wind through the hills, stopping at two of Central Texas’ best wineries so you can taste the different wines made in this area. This is the quintessential Hill Country tour!
