Departing promptly at 9:45 AM from the Hyatt, this day trip from Denver, we begin by traveling south toward Colorado Springs. Our first stop takes us to the magical Garden of the Gods, This geological heaven will amaze you. Our next stop is Pikes Peak. This is the highest summit of the southern front range of the Rocky mountains, standing majestically at 14,115 feet. Upon returning back to earth, we'll have time to visit the historic town of Manitou Springs, where we will enjoy a well-deserved lunch. This unique little town is filled with gift shops, galleries, and restaurants. Manitou even homes its own brewery. Lastly, we will take a scenic drive along the foothills of the Rockies, through the beautiful town of Sedalia, we will witness the sun kiss the mountains as the sun begins to set. The tour will return to the Hyatt around 6:00 PM. |
